CONTENT THIS YEAR
We rotate each year between two courses, the Dynamics of the Spiritual Exercises and St. Ignatius’ Rules for the Discernment of Spirits.  Beginning in September 2023 we will be exploring the Dynamics of the Spiritual Exercises. This year we will focus on an appreciation and understanding of the dynamics of the Spiritual Exercises. Basically, how the Exercises are structured and designed to help a person to open their hearts to Christ through the various movements of the retreat. We will look at the components individually as well as in the context of the overall retreat.  We will also explore, experience and review the different techniques of prayer and asceticism, which St. Ignatius encourages in the Exercises as we proceed through the year.

WHEN DOES THE PROGRAM BEGIN?
The Dynamics of the Spiritual Exercises class begins on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 8:30 AM. Classes are three hours in length.

Our dates this year are September 9, October 7, November 4, December 9, January 6, February 3, March 2, and April 6.

WHERE?
Classes will be held on a hybrid basis: in person at Rockhurst High School for those in the greater Kansas City metro area and on ZOOM for those outside the metropolitan area.
