TUESDAY EVENINGS | JUNE 20 - AUGUST 8

5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

“Were not our hearts burning within us.” The two disciples on the road to Emmaus, exclaimed this after the breaking of the bread, when they saw clearly that Jesus had been with them. We can miss Jesus in our midst so easily. Through daily prayer and meeting weekly to listen to and share stories of experiences of prayer and life, you too might come to say, “was not my heart burning within me.“ Join other seekers of God this summer to experience what it is to make an Ignatian retreat in everyday life.

You will:

  • be guided by a trained Ignatian prayer guide and learn by doing, various Ignatian ways of praying.

  • pray daily for 30 minutes and practice Ignatian ways of prayer at home.

  • learn and practice relating to God in your prayer and listening for God’s response.

  • witness others’ experiences of God in group sharing, and be able to share your own experience if you choose.

YOUR GUIDE: Marguerite Enlow

Marguerite is an experienced Ignatian Prayer Guide, Spiritual Mentor, RCIA Catechist, as well as a wife, mother grandmother and retired pharmacist. She has guided several retreatants through the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life, guided many small group and individual Ignatian Prayer Experiences and facilitated adult faith classes for groups at her parish.
