A very warm welcome to Stephanie Hudson into the role of Program Coordinator for the Ignatian Spirituality Center.

Stephanie is a long-time friend and supporter of the work and mission of the Ignatian Center in Kansas City. She made the Spiritual Exercises in 2003, completed our Prayer Companions Program to become an Ignatian Prayer Guide, and has guided the Spiritual Exercises since 2005. Stephanie has also  completed our 3 years Peer Supervision Instruction Program. This program helps guides to deepen their interior life to be more present to guide others through the Spiritual Exercises. Last year Stephanie stepped up to join our team of mentors who come alongside new Ignatian Prayer Guides as they give the Spiritual Exercises in Every Day life for the first time.

Stephanie holds a Masters and brings a unique gift set to the Ignatian Spirituality Center. Her career spans Early Education/Intervention and Special Education research, to training, coaching and mentoring teachers on how to include children with disabilities in regular classrooms. Additionally Stephanie has worked in various coordinator roles with a necessary eye for attention to detail. Needless to say, Stephanie brings a spirit of compassion and warmth in her approach to her work in administration, and program coordination for The Ignatian Center.

If you get the chance to chat with Stephanie, she’ll exude excitement about her new role (her call) to the Ignatian Center and the opportunity to learn, and contribute her gifts and talents to the center for “the Greater Glory of God.”
