Prayer Companions I and II
This is a two-year program for persons who have completed the Spiritual Exercises in either the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life format or the thirty-day format. Participants study and review the spirituality, the dynamics and prayer practices/techniques of the Spiritual Exercises.
The program serves two groups: (1) those who wish to explore in greater depth their experience of the Exercises to determine if they also are called to be guides of the Exercises; and (2) those who, for their own personal development and growth, want to enrich and deepen their experiences of the Spiritual Exercises.
The program format includes presentations and group discussion. Meetings take place once a month, on Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., from October through April, namely October 4, November 1, December 6, January 17, February 14, March 14, and April 25.
Prayer Companions III
Prayer Companions III is a one-year program for those interested in becoming spiritual guides/prayer companions in the Ignatian tradition. It presumes both an experience and an in-depth study (offered in Prayer Companions I and II, for example) of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. The program fosters skills and practice in companioning others and in group supervision. Included in the program are presentations, group discussions, verbatims, and case studies. The text used is The Discerning Heart by Maureen Conroy. Meetings are one Saturday a month (September - April), 8:30a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

What is the Cost?
The fee for Prayer Companions is $100. Arrangements can be made to pay this over the course of the year; scholarships are also available.
