LightWorks
Many people today have a hunger for God. They desire to grow in their relationship with God and find greater freedom and clarity in their lives.
LightWorks is a group introduction to Ignatian spirituality. It is a 14-week retreat that offers "light" spiritual exercises, various ways of praying, opportunities for sharing experiences, as well as for oral and written comments - all of which are based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. The program requires attendance at meetings on 14 Tuesday evenings (7:00 - 8:30 p.m.) from October to May. Click here to see a more detailed description of the program.
Fr. Vern Heinsz, S.J., directs LightWorks. Program dates for 2007-2008 are Introductory Session: September 25. Regular Sessions: October 2, 9, 16, 23; January 29; February 5, 12, 19, 26; March 4, 11; April 15, 22, 29.

The fee for the LightWorks retreat is $100. Arrangements can be made to pay this over the course of the retreat year; scholarships are also available. Contact the Center for these details.

Our cost for the retreat program is significantly higher than $100. However, alumni, spiritual guides involved in this retreat, the Missouri Province Jesuits, and others generously support the program, so that all who desire to participate will be able to do so. Along these lines, if you have the means to pay more than $100, we encourage you to do this in the form of a tax-deductible gift to the Spirituality Center. (We are a tax exempt organization.)
